Speck Products:

Cascading Colors

A night at the museum II.

Speck Products designed some of the most durable, portable electronic protective cases out on the market. We wanted to show them off as not just indestructible, but also as beautiful.

To show movement and impact, we wanted to bring in light and color streaks painting down the path of the phones as they hit the stairs. While we shot a print campaign using light painting, this was a little bit trickier to do in video.

The above was shot in the Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute, with the team from Monogram, using a phantom camera for beautiful slow motion trailing. And then in post, painted over with color light effects. It went perfectly with the Designed for Impact digital campaign.
